I have always loved Vichy products.  They are a little on the pricey side but if you can find their sets, they are  always a steal!

I stumbled across a set a couple weeks ago in Shoppers Drug Mart and I am glad that I did.  It is the "Complete Anti-Shine Routine" set which includes 30ml of the Total Mat Gel, Deep Cleansing Cream and a Toner.

If you have oily skin, I highly recommend this product.  I use this as a primer before applying any makeup and it is amazing, I no longer have to powder in order to mattify my skin.

Product Claims:

Skin care formula with high concentration of perlite. This natural ingredient of volcanic origin has been chosen for its strong absorbing power. Combined to micro-powders with ''blotting effect'' it absorbs oil / sebum and perspiration on the surface of the skin.

Results: Skin is perfectly mattified.With Normaderm Total Mat, you get the feeling of clean skin all day.

I absolutely stand by this product and Vichy's claims.  My skin feels so clean and fresh after this routine.  I think this will replace my Smashbox Photofinish primer.

How beautiful is the packaging?  :)   I absolutely love everything about this foundation!

If you are looking for a full coverage foundation, this may not be your cup of tea.  Although it is a buildable foundation, it is more of a "your skin but better" foundation.

The formula has skin care ingredients that claim to perfect your complexion with use.

The foundation applies beautifully, and smooths out your skin, while filling in lines and pores.  If you stipple it on, it will give you a very air brushed finish.

It has a slight scent to it, although some may not like it, I love it!  I tend to stop and sniff the brush as I am applying it to my face sometimes.  :)

This is a light foundation, so you won't feel like you're wearing anything on your face.  It does have SPF, and it does give a slight white cast in flash photography.  However, this makes your skin look flawless in person, even during daytime in the sun, never cakey.

I have worn this with and without primer and it looks great either way.

I love this as an everyday foundation, but since it is on the pricey side, I switch between this and my L'Oreal True Match.  I find them to be very similar, and I love them almost the same, the Dior has a pump and that is just a major plus in itself.

This line comes in a great range of shades, (if you can't find your color, you can always mix with another color).  I am in the shade Dark Beige 050, and it is a perfect match!

Beauty Box Swap

Hello lovelies :)

I am so excited to write this post!  My awesome cousin from the UK suggested we do a box swap back in March.  The aim was to have the packages delivered in time for Easter....obviously that didn't work out, considering I am doing this post in May.

We had sent off the packages on the exact same day, my package was delivered to her within 2 weeks, hers however, took a bit of a tour....

Her package was returned to her all torn up and with a few items removed :(  Poor girl had to repackage what was left and try mailing it again.  Nonetheless, I finally received mine on May 8th.

However, I was not at all pleased with the condition of the package....see below....

Luckily nothing was missing or broken.

I was so excited to open this goody bag!  So let's see what was inside this Royal Mail package :) 

Sleek - Oh So Special Eyeshadow Palette

Love the packaging

SLEEK!!!!!  I was sooooo happy when I saw this palette!  I have watched so many YouTube beauty gurus use this product, and have always wanted to try it.  

The palette has a mirror which I love and also comes with a double sided applicator.

I love the fact that these are all neutral colors (I love neutrals).  I will definitely be using these shades :)

Collection 2000 - Lasting Perfection, Ultimate Wear Concealer

Lasting Perfection concealer.  I used this for my under eyes this morning and it blends so smoothly, and the coverage is great.  (Product indicates 16 hour wear)

Shade:  Deep 4

I just put a few dabs and blended it out with my fingers. The product didn't crease or settle into any fine lines.

I have also heard Sammi rave about this on her YouTube channel BeautyCrush.

Accesorize - Bronzer

The product description on the back just says Bronzer, not sure if that is the shade or if it is a Bronzer....

It's a pretty peachy shade with a little bit of glitter, great blush for summer time.

Next up....  

Another  product by Accessorize.  A beautiful eye shadow palette :)  I love the colors, very wearable.  Some of the shadows are shimmery and some are matte.






All the colors are very pigmented.  Palette comes with a double ended applicator.

Keeping up with the eye shadow theme is the next item (one of my faves)

Shade:  Tango

An Illamasqua eye shadow!!!!  She could not have picked a better color.  I am in love with the color and the packaging.  

I am so excited to finally try out a product from this line :)

BARRYM Dazzle Dust!!!!!!!

OMG, I have heard about BarryM and have never had any products from this line, I was so excited to see this.

Shade:  Black

A lovely limited edition mascara by Accessorize.

Shade:  Pink Natural

And a Lily Lolo lip gloss.  (it smells like chocolate!)

Now, a package from UK would not be complete without....

She is so sweet that she had to send me some sweets!

CONCEALERS (EYES)

MAYBELLINE Instant Age Rewind Eraser and Dream Lumi Highlighter

This combo is my all time fave for my under eyes.  The consistency of the Instant Age Rewind is so creamy I love it.  It doesn't crease and blends into my skin like butter.
The domed sponge applicator is great.

The Dream Lumi is a great highlighter on its own (however, I find even the slightest bit too much will cause it to crease and settle in your fine lines).  BUT, when worn on top of the Age Rewind, it is just beautiful!
I am not very fond of the brush like applicator though....

I suggest both products be blended in with your fingers, the finish just looks much better.
(This is the only product I am willing to use my fingers for, it's worth it!)

L'OREAL TRUE MATCH

Ladies, this foundation is a "must try"! 

I put it on today for the first time, and I am in love!

Nicole Guerriero (YouTube Beauty Guru - nguerriero19) swears by this foundation, she is always raving about it in her videos.  Make sure you subscribe to her channel, she is amazing and very entertaining to watch :)

So, while I was in Walmart last night, I decided to pick one up.  I am in the shade W8 - Creme Cafe (amazing match to my skin tone).  It comes in 23 shades, anyone should be able to find an exact match.  The best part - IT IS OIL FREE.

I used it this morning, and my skin looks and feels soooo smooth.

Blends beautifully with no effort whatsoever.  A little bit really goes a long way with this foundation, (which is great considering the bottle is so small).
