MINI MAC/SEPHORA HAUL

I felt the need for some retail therapy last night, and made a trip to the mall.  First stop was Sephora.  I was on the hunt for a new foundation and decided to try the newly formulated Diorskin Forever Flawless Perfection Wear Makeup.

This foundation is formulated with Skincare Essence (which is supposed to improve your skin day by day) and claims to give a flawless complexion, while keeping your skin matte and hydrated. (sounded great for my oily skin)

I have this on today and so far so good.  I will give a full review on this product once I have worn it for a full day.

Next, I also picked up the DiorSkin Nude compact, which can apparently work as a powder or a foundation.  I used it as a setting powder today, so let's see how it goes.

Let me just say, that the packaging on both these products is beautiful!  

So, since I wanted to make a stop at MAC as well, I decided not to grab anything else at Sephora, but then while standing in line I saw one last lonely bottle of the Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray....and of course, I had to get it.

When I finally got to the cashier to pay, I was given a nice birthday gift :) the "Benefit Real Birthday Turn Ons" which consisted of a mini They're Real mascara and Watts Up-Luminous Champagne highlighter (so cute).

Then off to MAC I went, all I really wanted was the ever so famous MSF in Soft and Gentle, and I also got MSF Natural and lipstick (Creme Cup) for my sister.

This may have been a mini haul, but there was nothing mini about the prices....

AFFORDABLE MAC EYESHADOW DUPES

COASTAL SCENTS 28 NEUTRAL PALETTE

Most of us all know that MAC eyeshadows are amazing, however, sometimes you just don't want to spend $12-$15 on ONE shadow!

The Coastal Scents 28 Neutral Palette has an array of colors that are amazing dupes for those infamous MAC neutrals that everyone loves.

The pigmentation is great on most of the colors, but with a primer they all look great.

I ordered this palette from Coastal Scents for $12.95.  It is a great palette for everyday use.

MY FAVORITE DRUGSTORE MASCARAS

Maybelline Volum'Express One-by-One

This mascara will give you clump free voluminous lashes (no matter how many coats you put on).
However, I do find that many coats, lead to a little bit of flaking throughout the day...but nothing major.
The rubber wand does a great job separating my lashes.

L'Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions 

LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara!

This mascara will lengthen your lashes amazingly.  Your lashes will be separated, clump free and longggg!

Great for no makeup days.

Retails for $10.

When I use these mascaras together, it gives me the most perfect volumized long lashes in no time!

I am not a fan of fake lashes, so this works out perfect for me.

When used together, the Maybelline does not flake :)

REVLON COLORSTAY WHIPPED FOUNDATION

I am so happy I tried this foundation! It has been my holy grail product for the past three months.

This is not like your typical "whipped" foundation.  It has a very thick consistency, however, once applied it goes on sheer but giving a nice even tone to your face.

The foundation is very buildable; therefore, giving you the versatility for different levels of coverage.

I love the packaging, however, the application process was something I had to figure out.

I personally do not like using my fingers to apply my foundations, so I use a foundation brush to apply the product to my face and then a flat top kabuki to blend it out.

This foundation is a dream to blend.  It is just so amazing!

I found this product to work well with and without primer.  I have very oily skin, so on days where I want my makeup to last practically all day, I do use a primer.  But this stuff does not budge all day, it is transfer resistant and does not melt off my face.  It's a perfect summer foundation.

The Whipped foundation comes in 16 different shades.

Although this product is a bit pricey for a drugstore foundation ($16-$18), it is well worth it!

QUEEN B-TOX

This stuff is amazing!!!!  
You guys absolutely have to try it!

It is the Queen B Teatox, a detox tea.  Once a day is all it takes and you're on your way to a leaner and toned body.
